Foster a Bunny

If you aren't ready to adopt a "forever" friend, but you are interested in learning more about rabbits alongside donating your time, then fostering a rabbit may be for you.

Our current rabbits are caged indoors with only 1-2 free-roaming hours each day. This is not ideal. Looking after 18 rabbits on my own (4 of which are my own pets) is an exhausting task and I have no help. I spend 4-5 hours each day feeding, cleaning and interacting with these beautiful animals and I would love to see some of them fostered where they would be able to receive more time and care whilst delighting someone new with their personality.

The photos on this page show what an ideal indoor rabbit setup looks like.

If you volunteer to foster you are responsible for food and interaction with your rabbit; but all equipment, support and administrative work in finding a forever home is done for you. You are provided with a quality fenced enclosure, water bottle, tunnel, food bowl, mats and hideout boxes. Any arrangements for vaccination or desexing are made for you and transport to and from you is also covered in most circumstances.

Most fostering arrangements last from 1-6 months maximum.
If you have space in your home to provide an indoor fenced area and are able to give a rabbit an additional 2 hours per day of time outside this enclosure, please consider enquiring about volunteering to foster. Some bunny will love you and be furever grateful.

Please note, the button below that links to a Foster application form is currently still under construction.
If you are interested in fostering please fill out a web enquiry form on our "Contact Us" page, or email Elizabeth at tulipmaiden@hotmail.com
